Since the temperature is slightly higher than in last week,
snow can melt.
However snow falls heavily.
So it remains on roads.

Day 178
It has been 178 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
Last night,
We, three members in my office, went to a pizza house for dinner.
We ate a big and thick pizza!
After diner, I left my office for my home.
In my home I got an e-mail from my friend Mr. H.
So I went to a starbucks coffee shop.
I leaved there until midnight.

Day 176
It has been 176 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
Let me write a story on Sunday.
My friend and I went to an Irish bar after eating dinner.
It was good place.
A bluegrass group played music there.
We could smoke there.
And Hoegaarden White, sweetie Belgium beer, was in the menu!
I heard somebody cried at the counter.
I looked at there.
They watched a TV screen.
It broadcasted an ice-hockey game,
Canada vs. USA in the olympic.
The team of USA had just gotten a point!
So audiences got exited.
We also enjoyed watching the game.

Day 175
It has been 175 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
In the morning, I awaked earlier and opened a curtain.
Then I saw heavy snow outside.
It seemed the winter came back.
I went to a shopping mall with my friend yesterday.
After shopping we went to a restaurant and a bar.
The most impressed experience yesterday was to eat beef steak at the restaurant.
It was bigger and softer than what I was expecting.
The interior of the restaurant was so nice to enjoy eating.
When we asked a waiter about the menu,
he sometimes said "...Kobe beef or Wa-Gyu beef...".
These were familiar to me.
Kobe is a city of Japan and Wa-Gyu means Japanese beef in Japanese.
Were those also familiar to the people in the US?
I wondered what they think about Japanese beef.

It has been 172 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
It was not so cold today.
On Friday's evening, I usually go to a grocery store by a bus.
I buy some foods and drinks for a week there.
That store is so clean and has various vegetables and meat.
So to go shopping there might be the most pleasant event for me in a week.

Day 163
It has been 163 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
My advisor talked about his work in a seminar today.
He wrote it on a black board concisely.
He answered someone's question clearly.
His talk ended at exact time when he should end.
I want to talk something as him.

Day 156
It has been 156 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
I used to live in Japan.
Now I live in the United States.
I don't get to think of saving energy and things.
The United States is big,
which gives me an idea that they are available forever.
(Of course, that is false!)
Furthermore, many foods are also big.
Those are not for individuals, nor divided for each use.
(Of course, in that case, I can do for saving energy, and should do.)
What I want to say is that it might be not natural to think of saving energy and things,
if someone didn't know them.
On the other hand,
when I lived in Japan, everything was so small.
Because of a room was also small, I wanted to buy things just I needed.
And many foods were sold for individuals.
So I could choose small packed one.

Day 155
It has been 155 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
It was a snowy day.
Since it was somehow warm,
snow drops became water when they touched my coat.
So my coat became wet.
When it snows, I hope it is cold.
Also I want to see snow drops in cold day.
Anyway, a beautiful snow drop needs a cold weather condition.

It has been 154 days since I arrived in Ann Arbor.
Next week, my studying master will come here!
So I prepared some matter today.
For example, I made a reservation for a meeting room.
